Composer Jonathan Pease is putting on a reduced orchestration of his new opera, ‘Concrete Music’ at the Poplar Union, and Nicola will be playing oboe and cor anglais in the band. The opera is a dark satire of the Modernist movement, and asks questions control, coercion, and the relationship between the government and the governed.
